Dr. Rachel Hann is a performance historian at the University of Surrey. With degrees from the University of Leeds (PhD) and the University of Hull (BA, Drama), she teaches across the fields of drama, dance, and performance design. Rachel’s research on scenography and architecture has featured within a number of academic journals, including Performance Research, International Journal of Performance Arts and Digital Media, and Australasian Drama Studies. Current projects include a monograph for Routledge entitled ‘Beyond Scenography: Cultures of Performance Design’ (due 2017).
