Cette communication présente une démarche de conception, de validation et d’utilisation d’une grille de codage destinée à aider le centre d’enseignement et d’apprentissage de l’Université de Liège (IFRES-ULg – Belgique) à repérer les effets des séances de formation technopédagogique qu’il donne à plus de 150 enseignants par an dans le cadre des formations pédagogiques obligatoires pour les nouveaux encadrants. Le matériel qui a servi à cette démarche est constitué des rapports réflexifs rédigés par les participants à la fin de leur cycle de 30 h de formation (plus de 380 rapports ont été analysés sur une période de 3 ans). CInOpTIC est passé par un processus de validation mené avec 6 conseillers pédagogiques de divers horizons. Elle impliquait une série de mouvements de va-et-vient entre les données et les tentatives de catégorisation. L’acronyme CInOpTIC englobe 3 types d’effets trouvés dans les rapports : la prise de Conscience (sensibilisation), l’intention (de l’utilisation de l’apprentissage amélioré par la technologie), et l’opérationnalisation (mesures déjà prises) concernant les TIC. Le processus de validation a également enrichi chaque type d’effet avec des critères de définition plus pointus qui devraient faciliter encore davantage son utilisation future.

Cette communication a pour but d’introduire une typologie production de multimédia pédagogique réalisée sur la base d’une recherche à caractère exploratoire conduite sur base de plus de 1000 productions réalisées par la cellule eCampus de l’IFRES (Université de Liège) depuis 2012. Dans le cadre du développement de nos activités de soutien techno-pédagogique aux enseignants, des pratiques d’accompagnement à la production de multimédia pédagogique ont été mises en place en complément des nos actions plus classiques liées aux technologies éducatives. Nos limites en ressources humaines ont engendré la nécessité d’optimiser un maximum notre offre de service et c’est dans cette dynamique que nous avons mis en place un retour sur nos pratiques. Ce retour réflexif nous a permis, dans un premier temps de faire ressortir 7 types de capsules multimédia et de les les caractériser ensuite en termes d'investissement des acteurs (enseignants et équipe de soutien) ou d’encadrement techno -pédagogique nécessaire à leur création. Cette qualification nous sert désormais pour l’accompagnement des enseignants car elle leur présente une variété de possibilités liées à leurs disponibilités ou à leur niveau de compétences techniques ou pédagogiques. Elle garantit également la création de capsules multimédia de qualité au service des enseignants et de leurs missions.

In BC’s nearly-decade-old “new” curriculum, the curricular competencies describe the processes that students are expected to develop in areas of learning such as mathematics. They reflect the “Do” in the “Know-Do-Understand” model. Under the “Communicating” header falls the curricular competency “Explain and justify mathematical ideas and decisions.” Note that it contains two processes: “Explain mathematical ideas” and “Justify mathematical decisions.” I have broken it down into its separate parts in order to understand--or reveal--its meaning. The first part is commonplace in classrooms. By now, BC math teachers—and students—understand that “Explain mathematical ideas” means more than “Show your work.” Teachers consistently ask “What did you do?” and “How do you know?” This process is about retelling, not just of steps but of thinking. The second part happens less frequently. Think back to the last time that you observed a student make—a necessary precursor to justify—a mathematical decision. “Justify” is about defending. Like “explain,” it involves reasoning; unlike “explain,” it also involves opinion and debate.
