Moses:
Son of Amram and Yochebed
Born in Egypt during the period in which Pharoah had
ordered that all newborn male Hebrew children be cast into
the Nile
Rescued by the daughter of the Pharaoh and brought up as
her adopted son
Married Zipporah, while tending the flocks in the wilderness,
he beheld a bush burning that was no consumed.
He learnt that he was chosen to be serve as the liberator of
the children of Israel.

Israelities
As the Israelities had left, Pharaoh changed his mind.
He called his army and set off to pursue the Israelites on chariots.
During their journey they complained and moaned, in fear, they cried to
Moses ‘it would have been better for us to stay than to die in the
wilderness’.
Even when God delivered Israel from Slavery they did not cooperate with
the plan designed to benefit them.
They fought against God almost every step of the way.

8. Israelities continued….
They complained even tried to kill Moses at one time. They rebelled
against Moses.
Contended with Moses because of no water.
Most of the generation that the Lord called out of Egypt never entered the
Promised Land ; instead, they died in the desert.
This is one of the twelve spies who ghad spied out Canaan. Due to lack of
faith, they The people complained about how difficult it looked to conquer
the giants in the land and they REFUSED to enter the promise land.
