The new Ravensbourne recycling scheme introduces a two bin system with green bins for recycling and grey bins for general waste. Clear bin bags are to be used for recyclables like paper, plastic bottles, and cardboard in the green bins, while black bags are for non-recyclable wet waste in the grey bins. Four main recycling stations will have the new bin types inside, while the rest will have signs indicating which bin is which. Student halls should put all recyclables in clear bags and place them in the orange Bywaters containers outside.
