Supply and erect 4017 tons of surface overland conveyor structural steelwork, this conveyor
consists of a 22km overland conveyor, conveyor gantries, transfer towers, and bunker
steelwork, transferring coal from an underground decline conveyor in Kinross all the way to
Sasol.
The current value of this contract is R 240 million
1.2 Impala Platinum Rustenburg Surface Conveyor Structures (Completed 2013)
Supply and erect 850 tons of surface conveyor structural steelwork, this conveyor consists of
conveyor gantries, transfer towers, silo steelwork, overland conveyor sections and a spreader
conveyor transferring platinum from an existing head gear and sinking stage.
The current value of this contract is R 53 million

1.3 Rendflex, Machadodorp – Assmang Chrome Mine (completed 2012 / 2013)
Supply and erect 954 tons of surface conveyor structural steelwork, this conveyor consists of
conveyor gantries, transfer towers, stockpile moving conveyor complete with tripper car, road
and rail tippler transferring chrome from the existing plant to the new tipplers for exporting
purposes.
The total value of this contract was R 43 million
1.4 Congo, Tenke Fungurume Chrome & Cobalt building structures (completed 2012)
Supply 1054 tons of Chrome & Cobalt building structures. These structures consisted of 3
Electro winning building structures as well as an Chip building structure where chrome &
Cobalt is produced for exporting purposes
The total value of this contract was R 48 million
1.5 Sishen, Kumba Iron Ore Bucket and Bowl Workshop (completed 2011 / 2012)
Supply and erect 543 tons of workshop structural steel. This workshop was manufactured and
erected to accommodate Kumba Iron Ore Mine to assemble all their heavy opencast mining
vehicles
The total value of this contract was R 32 million
1.6 Kriel, Dorsfontein overland Conveyor System (completed 2011)
Supply and erect 975 tons of overland conveyor structures including a 108m long fabricated
plate girder bridge covered completely with vatrap checker plates designed by Holly &
Associates. This contract was done for DRA Mining
The total value of this contract was R 43 million
1.7 Bafokeng Rasimone Platinum Mine North Shaft & South Shaft (2007-2011)
Supply of underground conveyor structures which includes horizontal and vertical dam
steelwork, workshop, battery bay and PRS gates and screens, reef and waste tip steelwork,
reef and waste bulkhead structures, conveyor head end structures, conveyor hanging stringer
modules etc.
The total value of this contract was R 35 million
