6. History of case
 Pradyuman, a Class 2 student, was found murdered some 15
minutes after he was dropped off by his father, along with his
older sister at 7.55 am.
 Seven hours later, the police told the media that they had the
killer. Schoolbus conductor Ashok Kumar, they said, murdered
Pradyuman after trying to sexually assault him. police claimed
that they had recovered the knife from him.

 "Gurugram Police claimed that Ashok had taken the bus driver's
knife with him to the toilet to clean it. There he saw Pradyuman
alone and tried to sexually assault him, and when he shouted for
help, he slit his neck," an official said, referring to the police theory.
 Two days after the arrest, the driver said there was no knife in the
bus.
 Kumar’s family alleged that the Gurugram Police extracted a
confession from him under duress.
 The police said they would file a charge-sheet in seven days.
 There was no such charge-sheet when the CBI took over the case on
September 29 after Pradyuman's family insisted that the police was
in a hurry to produce results and was barking up the wrong tree.

8. Initial investigation done by
CBI
 The arrested bus conductor, questioned afresh by the CBI, repeatedly
denied killing the child.
 The child's autopsy report didn't mention sexual assault, which made
the CBI wonder about the police investigation.
 The gardener, who was among the first to see Pradyuman's body,
told the CBI that he saw Ashok Kumar entering the toilet but didn't
see a knife. He also told officials that two students told him
Pradyuman was lying in a pool of blood in the washroom.
 When the students were questioned, they mentioned a Class 11
student who was seen with a knife earlier.

 The investigation changed course. The CBI examined extended and
scientifically enhanced CCTV footage from near the toilet and saw
the teenager near the toilet.
 A background check of the student revealed that he had received
psychiatric counselling for a year and had "anger management
issues".
 "When they were questioning him, we realized that he used to pick
up fights in school and was termed rowdy by many of his
classmates," an officer says.
 More inquiries revealed that a day before Pradyuman was killed, he
had told a few classmates that they shouldn't prepare for exams as
there would be a school holiday next day (September 8).
 But there is no solid evidence connecting the teen student to such a
brutal murder, which left Pradyuman's vocal cord and wind-pipe
ruptured.

 The agency claims the teenager was not good in studies - as evidenced by his
report cards - and wanted to postpone school exams and a parent-teacher
meeting. Without proof, none of this will wash in court as motive.
 After committing the crime, the CBI says, the teenager flushed the knife down
the pot. But no forensic evidence links him to the weapon so far.
 The CBI on Wednesday moved an application before the Juvenile Justice Board
(JJB), seeking fingerprints of the juvenile accused in the murder of his junior on
the Ryan International School Bhondsi campus.
 As his judicial custody ended on Wednesday, the JJB extended it till December
6, and give three day remand to CBI

other gadgets from the residence of the teenager, the contents of which were
being analysed to understand his internet surfing habits to finding out what
could have led a 16-year-old boy, a piano student, to allegedly take the drastic
step of killing a Class-2 student to get the school to defer a parent-teacher
meeting and an exam
 Now they are interviewing this teenage guy for further investigation

11. Difference found between CBI
investigation and Gurgaon
police.
 “Forensic examination and post-mortem reports have
also ruled out any sexual assault on the victim,” said the
CBI spokesperson. According to CBI sources, Kumar said
he had confessed to the crime under pressure from the
Gurgaon police.
 Gurgaon court on November 21 had granted bail to bus
conductor Ashok Kumar, arrested by Gurgaon police as
prime accused in Pradhyumn murder case.

12. Conclusion
 In my perception i think that this is not just murder of a
child it is cover up what really is happening in ryan school.
Even techers of said school said to students to wash off
stains of blood, said by police and pinto family also got
anticipatory bail and even after interviewing students cbi
found that there are teacher who beat children and cbse
also took initial to conducted investigation and they
found that there is many irregulation in school and
further investigation is pending

14. Summary
1. Pradyuman Thakur was found with his throat slit in the washroom of Ryan
International School in Gurugram on September 8.
2. Pradyuman was rushed to the hospital and declared dead.
3. The Gurugram Police arrested a bus conductor Ashok Kumar for the murder of
Pradyuman Thakur.
4. Bus conductor Ashok Kumar confessed to murdering seven-year old Pradyuman
when he tried to resist an attempt of sexual assault.
5. The theory of sexual assault was ruled out later after the post-mortem when the
doctor said that no evidence of sexual assault was found on Pradyuman's body.
6. After several protests, the parents demanded a CBI probe in the case when they
suspected foul play. The boy's father had filed a petition in the Supreme Court
demanding a probe by the CBI. The Haryana government then handed over the case
to the CBI.
7. Meanwhile, the owners of the Ryan chain of schools were questioned, arrested and
then released on bail.
8. The CBI has now arrested a Class 11 student in the case. While the details of the
arrest are still sketchy, the arrest has given a new turn to the case.
9. He wanted to postpone school exams and a parent-teacher meeting because he
was bad at study and CBI took it as motive to kill.
