A Quiz Club IIT Patna Quiz conducted by Surya and Heet on 25th March 2022. The set had 20 questions from various domains, including 4 tie breakers. In addition to that, there were also 2 "greedy bonus" and 2 "all or nothing" questions to make things even more interesting.
2. 1) The quiz contains 20 questions.
2) The maximum marks are 420 (Definitely not intentional ).
3) Starred Questions (4, 8, 11, 16)will help to settle out ties.
4) You will be given 60-90 seconds per question, depending on the length of the question.
5) Each question carries 20 marks except some questions which have a "greedy bonus" and “ all or
nothing” marking scheme attached to them.
6) The "greedy bonus“(Q9 and Q10) - Here the questions will have a bonus/additional part which
will also include negative points for a wrong answer (no points deducted if you do not answer).
7) The “All or nothing”(Q 19 and Q20) - Here you need to answer both the main and the additional
part to gain full points or else you will get no points i.e. you can either get all the points or nothing.
8) Hints for the question are highlighted.
9) The questions having two or more parts will have their marks breakup mentioned with the
question itself.
10) We will have a re-run of the first 10 questions right after the 10th question and then a re-run of
questions 11-20 at the end.
11) The Google form would be closed 120 seconds after the re-run is complete.
