I gave the users 3 tasks for each category.
The tasks replicated how easily they were able to:
● To find the filters,
● Apply the filters
● Save the filters

Some users saw the multiple search option first, and vice versa in
order to eliminate sequential bias.
The scenarios varied between the prototypes in order to not make
them too similar.

18. The most problematic task was finding the saved filter
options. 3 users had some issues whereas one could not
complete without help.

Seperate the saved filters and save filter into separate
sections.

Improve the copy. “Apply a saved filter or create a
saved filter”
20. Users’ preferences were determined by
similarities to search patterns they were
shown before.
21. “This reminds me of Excel.”
“This looks similar to the search in
insights.”
22. However...
They had different mental models on what
reminded them of what.
Some thought the multisearch looked similar to
insights and vice versa.
23. There were no strong preferences for each either
version. There was mostly positive feedback.
