Repository Intern, University of Iowa Paleontology Repository January 2015 – August 2016
Digitized the Sternberg Fossil-Plant Collection as part of an initiative to make the Paleontology Repository’s
specimen collection more accessible to both individual researchers and the general public
Classified over 1,000 Cretaceous fossil-plant specimens into genus and species categories while simultaneously
cataloging their extensive information into a detailed database
Curated the Caribbean Coral Collection and then carefully wrapped and prepared over 3,000 coral specimens to be
shipped to the Smithsonian Museumas part of a collaborative project between them and the University of Iowa

various lower limb amputations who are undergoing the fitting process for a new prosthetic socket or device in order
to reduce limb volume fluctuation, improve patient comfort, and ensure the best fit possible of that prostheses.

Engineered a device using electrodes,a circuit board, customized low-pass filters, and instrumentation amplifiers to
create an electrooculography (EOG). Connected our EOG to a LabVIEW software scheme our team created, which
converted directional eye movements into purposefulcommands to be understood by a health care provider.
