2. Being a professional teacher is not just
finishing a 4 years course of education, and
then you will be recognized as a professional. It
needs certain requirements in order to be called
as professional. One of the requirements is, you
have to pass the Licensure Examination for
Teachers (L.E.T.).

4. The Civil Service Commission and the
Department of Education and Culture jointly
gave examination for the teachers and those
who passed the exam will get a Professional
Teacher Certificate and will be listed to the
registered Professional Teacher.
5. In this law, given us the different scope of
this which includes:
the declaration of the policy;
powers and duties;
qualification requirements for examination
applicants;
scope and ratings about the exam;
issuance of certificate etc.
6. This also includes the sanctions given to
those licensed teacher who violates the rules.
Another law which is related to the
Professionalization of Teaching is the

10. This act modify some of the sections in the
R.A. 7836 including the qualification
requirements of the examinees, registration
and exception, transitory provision,
references to the term, separability clause,
repealing clause and the effectivity.
