Since May’08: Alstom India Ltd. (GE Renewable), Baroda as Lead Planning Engineer
The Company is engaged in executing turnkey projects of Hydro Power Plant, Manufacturing of Hydro mechanical
components, Turbine, Generator and Design of Balance of Plan to installation of entire hydro power plant
Key Role:
 Planning, scheduling and updating Project in detail considering respective durations of Engineering, sourcing and
manufacturing for on time delivery.
 Making Master Time Schedules (MTS) and System Time Schedule (STS) for third party turnkey projects and for internal
trade projects.

2.  Responsible for planning of materials (Rubber items, Hardware, Finish bought outs, Consumables, Structural items,
Imported Items, Tooling, etc.) for different projects as per monthly planned assemblies. Scope of work for each component
of assembly is defined in a scheme called MIS.
 Looking after the inventory control of hardware, paint, consumables by demand analysis; providing priority to sourcing
department for purchase order placement as per monthly planned assemblies. Daily follow-up with vendors to get the
material on time by giving clear priority to quality department as per schedule.
 Liaising with:
o Different product line planners of shop to get requirement of items and after checking clear priority, clear
requirement is to be given to sourcing, vendors.
o All major function departments like sourcing, production, store, quality, product engineering, and industrial
engineering, sub-contract planning for action concerned with the given projects and verifying whether the
progress are carried out as per schedule.
o Shop to get real requirement of items for fabrication, machining and assembly as per short term plan.
 Accountable for maintaining:
o Sourcing list to have clear details of different components of different assemblies of projects by using SAP.
o Level meeting file by conducting meetings with sourcing, shop to have clear status of different components.
 Overseeing a big portion of critical hardware stock management of raw material, allocation of raw material and following
up for receipt of raw material & ordering of raw material at vendor end (based on release of drawing from engineering).
 Preparing progress report for the respective projects and checking progress with site people and to feed the material to
site by coordination with warehouse for proper packing and logistics to place vehicle.
 Managing the management potential delays and assesses the impact to the project. Doing float analysis and preparation
of R&O file.
Significant Highlights:
 Stellar in completing one of the full scope project of chamera-111 of 3 units of 243 Crore.
 Holds the honour for achieving Kaizen Certificate by saving cost of the company by using extra cut pieces of raw material.
 Successfully established new system of with material hardware manufacturing at vendor end.
Jun’06 – Apr’08: Jyoti Ltd., Baroda as Assistant Planning Engineer - Production and Planning
The Company is engaged in Manufacturing of Generator, Turbine, pump and motor
Key Role:
 Mentored & partially controlled the production processes consist of raw material to finish stage.
 Verified the components in stock in part store before processing components.
 Responsible for planning of the different projects to meet the delivery schedules.
 Communicated with Purchase, Production, Stores, Inspection, Marketing, R&D and other related Departments.
 Looked after the receipt of Sale-note, Drawings & Bill of Material to file in proper manner & give it to concern shop floor.
 Made Purchase Requisition for Raw-material, Fabricated & Casting items.
 Changed drawings with the help of R&D, if required.
 Created shortage-list for each & every projects for follow-up with purchase department and give the copy of shortage list to
all concern persons.
 Accountable for preparing 12 Weekly Production Programmed based on orders priority and as per instruction of
Department head.

 Actively saved cost of around more than 10 Lacs in upcoming project.

3. Apr’05 – Mar’06 with Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd., Ranoli, Baroda as an Apprentice Engineer
Mechanical Maintenance
The Company is engaged in Manufacturing Chemicals like HCL, H2SO4, H2O2, etc. from raw material salt. Also this company
is largest manufacturer of caustic soda in Asia
Key Role:
 Allocated daily work to technicians as per critical abnormality in the report. Solved day to day maintenance problems for
smooth flow of plant and ensured the availability of all work permits before starting any maintenance activity.
 Aligned different Parts of equipment as per requirement. Coordinated with different departments like electrical, process,
safety, projects and purchase for smooth work flow.
 Responsible for planning preventive maintenance; after every 4 months preventive maintenance of compressors is taken
place, also planning to shut down, this taken once in a year.
Significant Highlight:
 Significantly completed one plant maintenance by searching one component which is not available in that particular plant.
