 Conducting the welding procedure qualification & Welder performance qualification tests for

 Monitoring stage wise welding jobs including pre-heating, post heating & PWHT (post weld heat
treatment) stages.
 Undertaking the complete preparation & review of QAP, ITP, WPS and PQR.
 Developing procedures on NDT and Hydro Testing; examining the test packs and creating final
documentation.
 Preparing welding documents viz. Welding Procedure specifications, Procedure Qualification
 Records, Welder Performance Qualification Records, Welder Continuity Records, Weld Maps
and Welding Data Sheets.
 Establishing welding sequences to avoid distortion; executing periodical calibration for welding
equipment.
NDT
 Review of Radiographic films and evaluating as per to the relevant codes

 Maintaining quality standards for incoming/outgoing materials, ensuring string end adherence to
quality standards, practices.
 Conducting internal audits of Quality Management System.
 Working in close coordination in work groups for conducting process audits and conducting
review and approval of quality plans and detailing on quality requirements and finalizing the
quality plan.
 Quality Surveillance, inspection and sign off on contractor's requests for inspections.

and inspection test plans.

 Ensuring implementation of Preventive and Corrective actions, post-audit &during project
execution,
 Reviewing QC Reports like fit-up, welding, NDT(RT,UT,MPT&PT),dimensional, painting and hydro
test.
 Identifying then on-conformances, addressing the non-conformance report (NCR) and
resolving them through preventive actions; maintaining the NCR log book and following up to
close NCRs.
 Test pack review, punch listing.
Co-ordination
 Coordinating with Certifying Authority, Client, Job Sharing personnel and sub contractor
assuring conformity to project specifications, Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the site QC
manager.
 Interacting with company representatives and ensuring product conformity & stage release for
each activity denoted with in the Project Quality Plan/ I.T.P.
JAN’15 – MAR ’15 with SAIPEM ,SHARJAH BASE as QA/QC INSPECTOR

 Review of pWPS as per applicable test code and to carry out the PQR.
