WORKING PRINCIPLE OF DC GENERATOR
A generator is a device that convert Mechanical energy into electrical energy using electromagnetic induction.
A DC generator produces direct power based on fundamental principle of Faraday's laws of electromagnetic induction.
According to this laws, Whenever a conductor is moved within a magnetic field in such a way that the conductor cuts across magnetic lines of flux, voltage is generated in the conductor.
FLEMING’S RIGHT HAND RULE (GENERATOR RULE)
It use to determine the direction of the induced emf/current of a conductor moving in a magnetic field.
The POLARITY of the voltage depends on the direction of the magnetic lines of flux and the direction of movement of the conductor.
Fleming right hand rule (FRR) used to determine nature of emf or direction of current because rest two direction of motion of conductor in generator (Input Mechanical energy in generator) and direction of magnetic field (due to stator Field) are known.

3. WORKING PRINCIPLE OF DC GENERATOR
A generator is a device that convert
Mechanical energy into electrical energy using
electromagnetic induction.
A DC generator produces direct power based
on fundamental principle of Faraday's laws of
electromagnetic induction.
According to this laws, Whenever a conductor
is moved within a magnetic field in such a
way that the conductor cuts across magnetic
lines of flux, voltage is generated in the
conductor.
According to faraday law of induced emf in a
conductor is always alternating current then how we
get dc output from dc generator?

of a conductor moving in a magnetic field.
The POLARITY of the voltage depends on the direction of the

Trick 1:-MY MOTHER CUTE
TRICK 2:-"FBI", standing for
Force (or otherwise motion),
B the symbol for the magnetic field(Flux density)
I the symbol for current.
The subsequent letters correspond to subsequent fingers,
counting from the top. Thumb -> F; First finger -> B; Second
finger -> I.
8. WORKING PRINCIPLE OF DC MOTOR
A machine that converts DC Electrical Energy
into Mechanical Energy(Motion) is known as
a DC motor.
The basic working principle of a DC motor is:
"whenever a current carrying conductor is
placed in a magnetic field, it experiences a
mechanical force". Which is the cause of DC
motor.
The direction of this force is given by
Fleming's left-hand rule and its magnitude is
given by F = BIL NEWTON
DC MOTOR
F = Force
B= Magnetic flux density
I= Current in conductor
L=Length of conductor in meter.

ATHER
It is found that whenever a current carrying
conductor is placed inside a magnetic field, a
force acts on the conductor, in a direction
perpendicular to both the directions of the
current and the magnetic field.
Trick 1:-FATHER MOTHER CHILD
Fleming left hand rule (FLHR) used to
determine direction of force in motor
because direction of magnetic field (by
stator) and direction of current in conductor
is well known.
10. TRICK TO REMEMBER FLEMING’S RULE
Where is Fleming’s Right hand rule (FRHR) applied ? Motor or Generator
Where is Fleming’s left hand rule (FLHR) applied ? Motor or Generator
Fleming left-hand rule is used to find the direction of motion or force experienced by a conductor
placed in a magnetic field.
Fleming right-hand rule is used to find the direction of electric current generated in a conductor when
the conductor is moved inside a magnetic field
