Lionsgate Entertainment. It is one of the largest and most successful mini-major
studios in North America. (formerly known as Cinépix Film Properties, CFP).
∗Founded in 1962 by John Dunning and Andre Link, based in Montreal, CFP was a
leadiing independent company, releasing English and French-language films.
∗They produced 12 modestly budgeted films annually.

your film as a whole if it were a high budget film?

Hunger Games, have a target audience of teenagers,
and this would be appropriate for our film as our
target audience is teenagers, predominantly aged
between 17 and 24.
∗ Our film is a simple concept, so the budget doesn’t
need to be massive.
∗ It is the seventh most profitable studio.

innovative ways of creating excitement, such as the “twitter puzzle” and the
tumblr blog about the costumes and fashion.

fiction, action and thriller films, where their most
successful ones were The Hunger Games films, which
in the thriller genre, like our film would be.

our thriller would also suit this audience.
∗ Now You See Me is another example of a Lionsgate
film which interests younger people.
∗ I think the concept of our film would appeal to a
similar audience, like the rest of Lionsgate’s films.
