I introduce myself as a child educator who believes in these views: * It is a right of every child to have literacy skills i.e. ability to read and write. To take it further, the child should be a reader i.e. someone who quenches his thirst for knowledge or curiosity through reading. * Every child should be heard. It is natural for children to share their new toys or the place they go to or to convey their likes or dislikes. * Children should be enjoy what they are learning and challenged to strive harder. * I view play should an integral part of a child’s learning. Play promotes social skills, discipline and emotional development. * Children should be given opportunity to develop.
