1. IELTS Coaching
IELTS is the International English Language Testing System. It is jointly owned by the British
Council, IDP (International Development Program). It is globally famous English language
proficiency test for higher education and international migration, with over three million tests

Types of IELTS Test:
There are two types of the IELTS test:
IELTS Academic test: This test is the best for those people who apply for higher education in
an English speaking environment.
IELTS General test: This test is mainly for those people who are going to English speaking
countries for work experience, secondary education or training programs.
Academic and General test are four parts – Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. The total
test time is 2 hours and 45 minutes.
Listening Test: This test module contains four sections along with ten questions in each section.
And it takes 40 minutes: 30 min. for testing and 10 min. for transferring the answers to an answer
sheet.
Reading Test: This test module contains three sections and texts totaling 2, 150-2, 750 words.
Writing Test: This test contains two tasks. In task 1, write at least 150 words in 20 minutes. In
task 2, write at least 250 words in 40 minutes.
Speaking Test: includes a face-to-face interview between the test taker and an examiner and it
contains three sections.
IELTS 9-band Scale
In IELTS, bands are allotted on the scale of 1-9 for each part of the test. You can score whole
(e.g., 5.0, 6.0, 7.0) or half (e.g., 5.5, 6.5, 7.5) bands in each part of the test.

Band 1 - Non - user
Band 2 – Intermittent user
Band 3 – Extremely limited user
Band 4 – Limited user
Band 5 – Modest user
Band 6 – Competent user
Band 7 – Good user
Band 8 – Very good user
