Responsible for the accounting, budgeting, finance, treasury and insurance functions of a 150 employee law
firm with four offices in Florida. Annual revenues over $18,000,000. Responsible for the administration of the
401K and health insurance employee benefit programs.
Changed health insurance plans and saved the firm over $35,000 monthly, or $420,000 annually.
Implemented a 401K plan that saved the firm over $20,000 annually and provided quarterly financial
information to employees, instead of annually.
PLACER INTERNATIONAL EXPLORATION, INC. 1992-1995
Accounting and Administration Manager
Responsible for the accounting and administration of the international companies of Placer Dome, a Canadian
Gold mining company with offices in Coral Gables, Venezuela, Mexico, England, and Costa Rica. Responsible
for $28,000,000 budget, including coordinating and obtaining funds required to operate the international
projects. Audited the international offices to ensure compliance. Discovered fraud was being committed in
Venezuela, took immediate corrective action.
