2. Camerawork
 The camera shots that are typically used are a close up,
extreme close up or a mid shot
 Interviews are filmed from left to right
 They follow the rule of thirds
 The eye line roughly is a 1/3 of the way down the frame
 The interviewee looks at the interviewer not the camera
 Positioning of the interviewer opposite interviewee
(interviewee left, interviewer to the right) and are close to the
camera

3. Mise En Scene
 Background reinforces content of the
interview
 Interviews never film with a light source
behind them it is always facing them

4. Editing
 Questions asked are edited out
 Interviews have the most pertinent information only
 They have cut aways to keep the audience engaged, to
add anchorage and to avoid jump cuts this can be with
archive material or shots that have been filmed after the
interview

5. Sound
 Primarily the sound in a interview will be
diegetic sound

6. Graphics
 Graphics are used to anchor the information
provided by the interviewer
