I provided financial support to the Customer Experience (and Consumer 2006-2011) business
unit as the Finance point of contact for the Head of the Business Unit and their management
teams. I reported to the Finance Group Commercial Manager and managed one commercial

financial information by improving the financial reporting and analysis; ensuring

I was responsible for and managed Risk Management and Assurance at TelstraClear. The Risk
Management & Assurance function at TelstraClear was a team of three experienced full time staff
and utilised external consultants.
Achievements
Improved the control environment and established a controls self-assessment and monitoring
process. Implemented a Sarbanes-Oxley financial controls assessment strategy, managed
the assurance team and consultants to deliver the FY05 and FY06 assessment.
Achieved a good level of remediation of audit risks by the business through regular review
meetings, follow up and communication.
