Prysmian Group – Business Development Manager (Draka) March 2014 – Present
Working within the multimedia solutions Business Unit and reporting to the UK Sales manager. My role
consists of technical pre sales activity, Business Development and Key account management, with
responsibility for growing the Draka UC Connect Brand in the UK. Prysmian Group, the world’s largest
cable manufacturer including the Draka UC Connect brand of IT data cabling solutions for both Copper and
Fibre.
Mayflex UK LTD – Regional Account Manager March 2011 – March 2014
Managing Accounts in the South and South East/London region of the UK and reporting to the UK Director
of Sales. I was responsible for managing and growing accounts with revenues exceeding £4M. Mayflex are a
leading UK distributor of converged IP solutions owning the Structured Cabling Solution, Excel Networks.
2. Cooper B-Line LTD – Sales Manager, London & South East Feb 2009 – Feb 2011
Working with the Cooper B-Line Data team and reporting directly to the European Sales Manager. Cooper
B-Line offers a high end IT enclosure system, power and cooling solutions. This commercial role is a
technical sales role and involves a design function and pre sales support. This role has
commercial responsibility for Cooper B-Line’s major end user accounts as well as managing the distribution
channel.
Black Box (UK) Limited – Supply Chain Manager October 1998 – Feb 2009
I was responsible for implementing, managing and streamlining the supply chain structure within Black Box
(£30M Revenue). Limiting the number of suppliers, setting new procedures I mentored the skills of the
buying team and championed a more professional approach when dealing with both suppliers and colleagues
alike.
I worked closely with all internal team members to assist with their individual needs and proactively work
towards raising the company profit margin on all projects irrespective of size and location.
