Parquet flooring is considered unsuitable for use in damp and wet environments.
However, hüma‘s development offers an elegant solution to this problem.
The joint area between the parquet elements is critical when it comes to protection
against the ingress of water – which is why all hüma PRODUCT LINES feature a
waterproof rubber joint that is applied to the parquet element by means of injection
moulding technology. Injection moulding is also used to give the parquet an
innovative joint geometry, the hüma SNAPCON. hüma PARQUET is extremely easy
to lay and does not require any further treatment.

MATERIAL
hüma uses European oak from sustainable forestry.
This is a hard and robust type of wood with an attractive
grain and the timeless aesthetics of plank flooring.
The three-layer oak parquet with waterproof thermoplastic
elastomer joints consists of a premium quality
ONE-strip-thick veneer with a thickness of 3.5 mm.
SURFACE FINISHING
The surface creates a perfectly balanced material pairing:
the first component is an elastic, highly abrasion-resistant
PU hot melt, while the second is a hard, scratch-resistant
UV acrylate. This combination produces excellent
properties even on very thin layers, with an emphasis on
the natural qualities of the wood and its incomparable feel.
DESIGN
The new manufacturing process of injection molding makes
it possible to create any color joint. Apart from its technical
specifications, the joint from hüma HYDRO PARQUET allows
for a wide range of design versatility and enables new
concepts for spaces.
INSTALLATION TECHNIQUE
Thanks to the patented snap connection, vertical installation
à la the lock and key principle is possible. Undercuts bring
about friction in all alignments. There is no problem installing
between long and narrow side. Multiple usage possible.
SUSTAINABILITY
The natural and sustainable material wood can now be
added to new settings thanks to the innovation, replacing
the prevailing inorganic and petrochemical products that
are used.

Thanks to the innovative hüma SNAPCON and the vertical locking system,
hüma PARQUET is extremely easy to lay. There is no conflict when laying the long
side and the narrow side. You are free to lay the parquet as you wish; there are
hardly any limits.
