might distribute your media
product and why?

2. About
Time Inc. is a very successful company that
advertises and distributes different types of
brands. It reaches a large audience because of its
success. Time Inc. helps large and small projects
advertise across social media, and helps
distribute the product on platforms such as a
website.

3. Time Inc. – Why?
Time Inc. may distribute my product because they
distribute all kinds of magazines, including music
ones like NME. This would be a good distributor for
my product because they publish across different
types of platforms, like print, mobile, tablets and
online. This would be good for my product because
my target audience are digital natives, so having the
magazine available on all types of platform would be
ideal for them and would attract more of my
audience. They also have a larger audience of women
than men- meaning more of my target audience
would be reached by my product.

4. Distribution
Time Inc. are very successful at distributing
products to get marketed. They are an
international company with many offices
around the world which helps them broaden
their audience and their connections in get
products marketed in different countries. This
could mean that my product could be sold in
different countries, while being based in the
UK.

5. Time Inc. ‘Experiences’
Another reason I think why Time Inc.
would be a good distributor for my
magazine is because they have
‘experiences’ that they promote for
the brands they distribute, like NME
for example. This would be good
because I advertised on my product
an awards ceremony for my magazine
on the contents page. The awards
show could be something the
distributor could promote.
