Costa Rica_ A Perfect Holiday With Photos Of This Gorgeous Country
1. Costa Rica: A Perfect Holiday With Photos Of This Gorgeous
Country
Our Trip To Costa Rica
In summer time of 2010, several of my family members and I visited costa rica , and Iâm so glad we
would. This is a beautiful nation between the Pacific and the Caribbean. Costa Rica signifies âRich
Coastâ, and it ranks first about the Happy Planetâs index as the greenestâ nation in the world. They
abolished their Army within 1949. Since they don't have any defense budget, they devote their money
to their people in the form of good education and health improvements. Costa Rica boosts a literacy
rate of 94.9%. Bananas and espresso is their main foreign trade.
The environment of Costa Rica will be tropical year round. Tourism makes it most visited region in
Central America. Medical tourism is attractive to be able to Americans because of its closeness and
short trip , quality of medical service, and lower expenses. The country has acquired a good
reputation in plastic cosmetic surgery because of those causes , and now you see hotels devoted to
the level of privacy of patients, and to afford them luxury while getting their process done.
Costa Rica features an awesome variety of natural beauty. NEarly 12% of the country will be devoted
to the availability of nature and wide life, underneath the protection of the countrywide park system.
Costa rica offers visitors the view of uncommon birds, turtles, animals , hundreds of species of fern
and orchids, because of this that it is often referred to as the âGarden of the Americas.â Other normal
wonders include coral formations reefs, jungle scenery and a range of active volcanoes reaching the
height of a dozen ,000 feet.
Costa Rica refuses to conform to stereotypes regarding Central American countries ; it enjoys a
reliable democratic government, adheres to high standards of education, and it is a relatively
prosperous property. I was struck through the cleanliness of the folks and the country. They're very
friendly folks. Since English is needed as a second terminology , it is not difficult to converse with the
local people. Their own national food plate is Gallo pinto, which is cooked hemp and beans fried
together.
We put in 9 days here in this beautiful spot. I wish now we had planned for a longer trip. We flew out
of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. The trip only takes regarding two hours. When you first observe Costa Rica
from the atmosphere as you land, you see miles and miles of environmentally friendly , which I found
out later on are mostly coffee farms , and of course, the jungles. We were met in the Juan Santamaria
international airport airport by our own friendly Tour director , who drove us to the lovely hotel , the El
Rodeo. We had a great supper there, complete with indigenous food. He will select us up here in the
morning to start our fabulous journey.
I required all the photos along with my Digital camera.
Day Two: Early the following morning we began driving to the Poas Volcano area and what they call
the Cloud Forest. The diameter of this volcano is considered one of the largest in the world. After that,
we all drove to the los angeles Paz Waterfall gardens , a Nature playground. We walked magnificent
trails that led us to Magia Blanca Falls (the greatest and the most magnificent of the falls in the area.)
2. While at this playground , we visited the greatest enclosed butterfly observatory in the world.
Day Three: Early in the morning, we headed off to do white water rafting on the Sarapiqui river. This
river offers some of Cosa Ricaâs most lush and vibrant scenery. Free-flowing, it has its beginnings in
clear mountain streams that drop down through thick rainforest, finally signing up for together in the
crystal waters of the beautiful Sarapiqui, This thin , low-volume river is ideal for white-water novices,
along with families, all of whom will enjoy it somewhat flowing rapids. This particular journey is
excellent regarding bird-watchers and dynamics lovers. You will see hummingbirds, toucans,
woodpeckers, and scores of other indigenous birds.
Later that day we been to the Ecotermales hot Springs. This is a great place to just enter into the
warm water and relax.
Day Four: We visit the Monteverde Cloudforest/ skies Treck and Tram and Nature wander. We hiked
through well-marked trails. We all spotted a Quetzal, a rare and beautiful bird, and one of the very
beautiful birds in the world. We saw lots of monkeys and sloths clinging from the trees. We all spent
the night in the Trapp Family hotel. While on our hike , a baby sloth chop down out of a sapling , and
our guide gently picked it and placed that back on the sapling where it firmly attached itself. This
particular trip took people day.
Day Five: Weâre upwards early and all set for the big skies Tram/ Zip collection Tour. The see from
the Sky Tram was amazing. You appear out over the rain forest. The cable television runs along the
sapling tops, and extends 7000 feet. Here , you have the opportunity to observe and appreciate
tropical forest from various vantage points. Only then do we walked across the suspended bridge,
known as the Sky Walk. This particular bridge is 300 feet long and 66 feet high. This was a little
unnerving, as the bridge swayed a great deal. We additionally did the âZip Lineâ which is cable
television strung high up in the canopy of the timber. There are platforms regarding 500 feet separate.
They put you in complete safety gear, harness, head protection , etc. You have to signal a release
that they can not be responsible for the safety, and that was a little alarming if you ask me. The
guides consider you up simply by steps all the way to the first platform (quite a haul upwards ). They
make sure you're ready, and then they push you off. And, off you goâŠ.attached to the cable. You
then zip along to another location platform. I screamed the whole way. There was some people who
begged to do it again, but I did not. At the last platform, the only way lower is to rappel lower. I didnât
know very well what that meant till I had to do it.
Day six : This day is put in traveling for 5 hours to get to Manuel Antonio, Quepos. We were in a 4-
wheel van. The motive force didnât seems to discover all the pot pockets in the road. With one point,
the road had been completely washed out, but he didnât also slow down! The drive was well worth it,
although. We were tired after the long drive, so we ate a big Costa Rican supper and went to your
bed. We stayed in the California Hotel.
Day Seven: we have got up early and headed for the brother Antonio National playground. An
experienced guide required us through the playground. He pointed out issues of interest along the
way. We all hiked for three hours.
This playground is considered to be Costa Ricaâs most beautiful playground , with white-sand
3. beaches ideal for swimming, and tropical rainforest still living with wildlife. There was monkeys, and
iguanas everywhere. We were pretty tired after this journey. If you go to costa rica , invest in some
good hiking shoes; you will need these. We just relaxed and went to bed earlier at the California
hotel.
Day Eight: We were upwards early, and had a good hearty breakfast regarding Gallo pinto, and were
ready to go horseback riding. We really enjoyed the horses, and got the chance to get off and wander
underneath some high water falls. That was a lot of fun. This activity took up most of the day time. As
usual, we had been bone tired, stood a great dinner, and went to bed. We all stayed this evening
again at the los angeles Hotel.
Day Nine: We rested late for a change. We all spent the mid-day on a kayak experience through
canals. We saw lots of wildlife quietly : white-faced monkey, sloths, snakes, crabs, and plenty of
birds. After this tedious trip, we went back to the hotel to clean up and have a huge dinner. We
packed for our trip home.
We have to say good-bye to this beautiful place. We all stood a wonderful time, and would like very
much to go back one day. I can understand why so many Americans are retiring in costa rica. The
cost of living is indeed much less that in the usa , the government is stable , the people are warm and
friendly, and lastly , the main reason Iâd prefer to live in Costa Rica may be the weather. Itâs warm
year round. It gets a little cold upwards in the mountains, they reveal. We didnât increase into the
mountains. An additional plus for me is they keep the same period year round, no relocating the
clocks again and forward.
If you are considering visiting Costa Rica, Iâd recommend you contact a tour company. It might seem
you will save some money by renting a car where you arrive in the capital of San Juan, and rent a
car. I would dissuade you from doing this. The roads in costa rica are full of container holes; they
donât mark their pavement very well. The natives say they donât repair their streets because they donât
desire a lot of traffic. The bus and cab systems are very good. It is well worth the cost of hiring a tour
organization who will drive an individual around, buy all of the tickets for the parks , and pay for the
hotels and foods. They will take care of sets from picking you upwards at the airport when you arrive ,
conducting all the excursions , and they take an individual back to the airport regarding departure.
These expenses are all included in their own fee. At the end of the tour, if you are pleased about the
service you got , you are expected to tip your driver. The tour group we all used is called Costa Rican
Trails, but there are many of these visit companies. Do some research on the internet to find them. I
might also say everybody in your group ought to be in good shape because of the hikes. If you do
have someone in your team that is not up to hiking , they could remain behind in the hotel , and let
the a lot more adventuresome do the greater strenuous things.
I would certainly suggest Costa Rica for a vacation at any time of the year. I might advise people
planning to go to Costa Rica to take a longer journey than we would. If I go once more , I will take a
two-week tour package. The country is small, but you just canât take action justice in 8-10 days. The
two 7 days tours take you from coast to coastline.
