and wage targets to achieve as well as a growth forecast which all are set to achieve my weekly
KPI. I am solely responsible for the store in the absence of the general manager. I have to make

I worked on a number of contracts, the one that took most of my time was the refurb of Two Ball
Lonnen Newcastle phase three and four. With over 800 dwellings refurbished. With doors
windows new roofs and patch repairs, including internal first and second fix depending on the
properties condition. Creating snagging lists and ensuring work completed before payment. I also

3. was involved in a water treatment plant near Middlesbrough and the water boards contract for
underground reservoirs near the A69. I also worked on the refurb of the tower blocks in Byker
Newcastle. My responsibilities were to create schedules for all works carried out calculate
payments and authorise payment to sub contractors. Measure work in progress and take
quantities from drawings. I also collated all invoices to the contract and calculated costs for
monthly meeting with contractors surveyor. I calculated day works for extra works to the
contracts by calculating labour materials and plant and agreeing the overall costs with the
contractors surveyor.

I worked with a quantity surveyor learning the role, helping with measurement of work costing and
arranging a contractor for small works, collating invoices and creating schedules. I worked on a
number of contracts from refurb to new build and I worked on the maintenance of Fenwicks
Newcastle store calculating day works and measuring work required on a maintenance schedule.
I also got involved with some small design and build projects from initial surveys and preparation
of drawings to calculating final costs.
