Global Urban Development Program Jan. - June 2016
Examined current housing policies in San Jose and made recommendations to city representatives.
Researched homeownership models, including Shared Equity Homeownership, in order to find
alternative forms of affordable housing for the city’s residents. Performed data analysis and used GIS
mapping to analyze city-wide trends.

Planned and designed my own research project, worked with various microscopy and furnace
equipment, and learned the often slow process of research. My project involved examining the effects of
