CO-WRITER, with Jeffrey Grimshaw and Academy Award winner Michel Gondry, of The We and
the I (2009 – 2011), a feature film directed by Michel Gondry. Chosen to open the Director’s Fortnight
at Cannes, 2012. Winner of the International Critics Prize at the Deauville [France] American Film
Festival. Official selection of festivals around the world, including the Lincoln Center Film Comment
Selects Film Festival, Moscow, Rio, Toronto, Perth, Amsterdam, London, Stockholm, Mumbai, Leiden,

ARTIST for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind directed by Academy Award winner Michel Gondry
and written by Academy Award winner Charlie Kaufman (2002 – 2004).

In 1992, the head writer for David Letterman wanted to hire me as a writer, but Letterman decided my
material, which was tailored for Letterman’s NBC show, wasn’t suited for the new CBS show.
