EXPERIENCE CLINICAL DIRECTOR,TRIVISTAREHAB,CORINTH,MS
January, 2014 to present
I arrived at this clinic where there was only part-time therapist available,
with a PTAproviding the majority of the actual treatment. Volumes were
low and opportunities were availableto develop community relations and
those withreferral sources. I was able topresent information to the
owners, whichled to our joining a business networkingorganization
(BNI).Thru these efforts, wehave been successful in developing these
relationships and have seen a tremendous improvement in patient
volumes and outcomes. Specifically, prior volumesincrease from
approximately 25 visits per week, to as high as 58 at one point. Currently,
we are realizing 45-50 visits per week.
We have also been successful in developing other revenueopportunities
and are currently processing a contract witha localmedical networkto
provide forhome care physical therapy.
Another responsibility has been to supervise a PTAin our personal care
homes with whomwe are contracted. The current PTAwas consistently
low on volumes, which ultimately affectedher income. We developed a
marketing model and now she has consistently experienced good volumes
and she feels her income is more stable. Rather than seeking other
opportunities to meet her financial obligations, she remained.
