With a wealth of experience in engineering to a senior level supported by a combination of vocational training and
academic achievements, I am keen to gain a position that will explore my potential to the full. Target driven and
with the ability to identify new and challenging working practices, I am confident of developing into a key and
valued member of any team.
Key Achievements throughout Career:
• Promotion from an Engineer to a Maintenance
Manager within the Deans Foods group. Looking after 6 Engineers.
• Creating a L8 (Legionella) weekly report for Cooling towers / Boilers which is
being used by the HSE offices as a example to what they are looking for.
• Implementing new shift patterns and allocating engineers to an area on a
week to week rota, this then gives the guys responsibilities and less
downtime. This alone reduced the downtime by 25%. Ongoing improvements
with more training.
• Being involved with a building (extension) project worth 4.5 million. This was
a big task to take on I was working alongside of the Engineering Director and
the projects manager. This involved multiple tasks from organisation of all
the contractors which was involved. Also this lead me to closure of another
site ready to move into the extensions.
