Greetings beloved brethren; I am deeply impressed to see the hand of God
over my life, family and the University. It is not an easy thing to work with
people from all diverse background. I must appreciate my wife, Rev. Rita,
who gave me key assistance during the development of this student hand
book project. Many thanks and appreciation to GIBU faculty and
Staffs.
I know that this project was uniquely constructed and it will bless both
Professors and the Students population in general. Looking at the Success
story today, there were so many challenges confronted, therefore God is
finding the solutions by bringing the Grace international Bible University.

everyone in need thereof. It is amazing to see God working miracle through

GIBU Degree Programs
Length of time for each regular Program is as follows:
• Certificate Program: Six (6) months of intensive Studies.
• Diploma Program: Nine (9) Months of intensive Studies.
• Associate Degree Program: Two (2) years of Studies.
• Bachelor Degree Program: Four (4) four Years.
• Master Degree Program: Two (2) years or 18 Months.
• Doctorate Degree Program: Two years or 18 Months.
• Doctor of Philosophy Ph.D. Program: Two years or 18
Months.
Each of these schools offers degrees appropriate to the purpose of
the school and its student body. Due to the decentralized nature of
the University, many of the same Biblical courses are used in the
various degree programs. The number of units required, and the
balance of courses are different in each case. See the degree

GRACE SCHOOL OF THE BIBLE
The School of the Bible includes all undergraduate programs,
Certificate, Associate Diploma, and Bachelor. This is the division that
continues the primary purpose for which Grace was founded, which is to
help fulfill the Great Commission through the development of individuals

who will plant, renew, and multiply churches in the urban centers of the
world, including training and developing lay leadership for churches, and
providing Bible education for all Christians, which is balanced, life-
related, and grounded in Biblical principles and church history.
GRACE SCHOOL OF INTERCULTURAL STUDIES
Since the purpose of Grace is to facilitate the fulfillment of the Great
Commission, the School of Intercultural Studies is designed to prepare
people, specifically to penetrate new areas with the gospel, usually
through starting new works, but also through support of the existing
missions. The latest ―cutting-edge‖ concepts are taught, and the
student is introduced to the work of today‘s leaders. This School offers
both Biblical Master, Doctorate &Ph.D. degrees. Jesus said, this gospel
of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all
nations, and then the end will come (Matthew 24:14).

GRACE SCHOOL OF THEOLOGY
The School of Theology provides graduate-level seminary education for
those who are preparing for the professional ministry and for others who
want to excel in their quest for knowledge and effectiveness in the
kingdom of God. This School offers both Bachelor Master, Doctorate,
and Ph.D. degrees. Never has the need been greater for God‘s people to
regroup and bring revival; and the best way to see it happen is to
strengthen and multiply Christian leaders globally.

OUR VISION
The Vision of G.I.B.U. is to help offer free tuition to Christians by
establishing Colleges in more the 150 Nations, giving affiliations to about
fifty thousand Churches, and by giving (250) Thousands of Scholarships
to Bachelor, Master, Doctorate and Ph.D. Students Worldwide!
G.I.B.U. MISSION
Our mission is to help train and conduct a quality biblical education and
produce godly leaders through our free tuition for bachelor, master, and
Ph.D. Degree Programs. This will be done by providing electronic
teaching materials, starting new colleges throughout the globe. We do
this by appointing National, Regional, State, Province, or County
Directors, who will then help direct the national university in their
respective countries. They will in turn, recognize and accept this mission
to add or to establish colleges across their Nation through local churches
for the fulfillment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).

STATEMENT OF FAITH
The Holy Bible, consisting both the Old and New Testaments, is
inspired by God, the only scriptural truth, and the standard for Christian
living.
The True Jesus Church, established by our Lord Jesus Christ, through
the Holy Spirit during the time of the 'latter rain', is the restored true
church of the apostolic time.
Water baptism is the sacrament for the remission of sins for
regeneration, in the name of Jesus Christ. The baptism must take place
in natural living water, such as the river, sea or creek. Receiving the
Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues, is the guarantee of our
inheritance of the Kingdom of Heaven.
The ceremony of foot washing enables one to have a part with the Lord
Jesus.
It also serves as a constant reminder that one should have love,
holiness, humility, forgiveness, and service. Every person who has
received water baptism must have his/her feet washed in the name of
Jesus Christ.
The Holy Communion is the self-punishment to remember the death of
the Lord Jesus Christ. It enables us to partake of the flesh and blood of
our Lord and to be in spiritual union with Him so that we can have eternal
life and be raised on the last day. This sacrament shall be held as often
as possible.
Salvation is given by the grace of God through faith. Believers must rely
on the Holy Spirit to follow holiness, to honor God, and to love humanity.

The Lord's Second Coming will take place on the last day when He
descends from heaven to judge the world; the righteous will receive
eternal life, while the wicked will be eternally condemned.
OUR VALUES
GRACE INTERNATIONAL BIBLE UNIVERSITY is non-denominational
and has been established to work in collaboration with churches and
other ministries in the area who want to see a rapid increase in the
number and effectiveness of churches in the City.
Grace is instrumental in keeping the people‘s civilization and socio-
economic identity intact. It is a multi-ethnic school that helps each group
develops its own approach to reaching its people for Christ.
Grace is designed for regular people who will never be able to afford a
major Christian University or Collage education; for people who come
from oral tradition cultures and therefore do not fit in well with the
dominant academic establishment; and for people who have been
―marginalized‖ by ―the system‖ for any number of other reasons.

Objective: GIBU graduates will be able to articulate a biblically-based
Christian worldview of the subject area of study through the informed
perspectives they express in their academic activities.
A biblically-based Christian worldview emphasizes the interpretation of
personal and cultural beliefs and practices, through the lens of Scripture
apart from the theological positions of any one Christian denomination.
An informed perspective is one that explores and utilizes precedent
literature to compare the attitudes and values in one worldview with
those of another.

FOSTER SPIRITUAL FORMATION AND WHOLE PERSON
DEVELOPMENT (SOUL)
Objective: GIBU graduates will be able to identify best practices that
contribute to personal growth and spiritual formation through self-
assessment and peer evaluation.
Best practices are sustainable actions and conditions that a person has
experienced as making a long-term and positive impact on their whole
personal development. Through self-assessment a person evaluates
their formation and development, which guides them in identifying their
best practices. Through peer evaluation a person receives external

Objective: GIBU graduates will be able to demonstrate skills in the
subject area of study through well-reasoned applications and evaluations
deployed in life, work, and ministry.

Well-reasoned applications and evaluations are a demonstration of the
skill of a person to integrate a Christian worldview in attitudes and values
with spiritual formation and whole person development and subject area
knowledge and understanding. A person demonstrates their skill in the
subject area of study through the deployment of those applications and
evaluations in life, work, and ministry context.
FINANCIAL STABILITY
The goal is to strengthen the financial stability of the University. This will
be accomplished by:
 Expanding the Number of Funding Sources
 Increasing Individual Donor Support
 Increasing Church Support
 Reducing Debt
 Establishing and Building an Endowment plan to invest into
Agriculture farms, by Producing Pineapple, Mango, Orange, and
banana juices in Liberia.  Conducting Housing units, Transports,

Background: GIBU have experienced success in procuring human
resources, facilities and generating interests in the community with
persons interested in pursuing theological and professional education.

STRATEGIC PLAN
6) GIBU conducts sustained, evidence-based, and participatory
discussions regarding how to effectively accomplish its
mission and educational objectives. These activities form
the foundation for both institutional planning and the
systematic evaluation of institutional effectiveness. The
results of this institutional inquiry, research, and data
collection are used to establish priorities at all levels of the
institution and to direct the short-term and long-term
planning processes.
7) The institution‘s planning process is all-inclusive in nature and
leads to the development of a comprehensive institutional
Strategic Plan. Such a plan will normally address educational
programs, student enrollment, staffing projections, finances,
facilities, equipment, policies and procedures for operation.
8) The strategic planning process includes both short-range (1-2
years) and long-range (3- 5 years) projections and goal setting.
The process normally identifies priorities, sets goals and
timelines, and identifies individuals responsible for
implementation.
9) GIBU utilizes the results of assessments in a broad-based
continuous planning and evaluation process, and incorporates
them into the strategic planning process.
STANDARDS AND EVALUATION CRITERIA
10) The Institution has developed and implemented a comprehensive
Strategic Plan based on both internal and external factors.

11) Strategic Plan is in writing and includes timetables, persons
responsible for implementation and the financial resources
required for meeting the goals.
12) Strategic Plan is approved and reviewed annually by the board.
Note: Strategic Plan includes a facilities plan for maintaining and upgrading facilities.
13) Goals are listed in priority order for each area of the institution
(such as academic, student services, financial operations,
administrative, etc.).
14) Planning process takes into account both income and
expenditure categories for at least five years.
15) Strategic Plan has been developed on sound research, based on
an analysis of assessment data, and involves all appropriate
constituencies of the institution.
16) Minutes of any committee meetings related to strategic planning
are maintained.

The Grace International Bible University Strategic Plan is a planning
document covering a projected five-year period of institutional operation.

goals deleted, goals no longer considered appropriate removed, new

the recommended Strategic Plan for the next five-year period.
March
During March of each year the recommended Strategic Plan for the next
five years‘ period is presented to the Faculty for revision and/or adoption.
Following faculty adoption, the Strategic Plan is presented to the
Advisory Executive or GIBU Founder for approval.

During April of each year, the recommended plan as approved by
Faculty and Advisory Executive Committee is presented to the full Board
of Advisory for revision and/or adoption.

During May of each year, the approved Strategic Plan is published in a
condensed form to appropriate groups within the School constituency.
August
Each August, following the publication of the new Strategic Plan
approved by the Faculty and Board of Advisory will produce a report of
unit activities during the preceding 12 months. The annual report, along

Provost. The reports will be presented annually (in September) to the

Re-admission after an Absence
Students who have not enrolled in classes for a semester must apply to

The admission process is essential to secure arrangements for the
semester, such as financial calculations, transfer of intervening college
work, technology account setup, and student ID renewal.
Students re-admitted after an extended absence may be required to
repeat courses in which content has changed significantly.

Students desiring to return after suspension must do so through an

STUDENTS ADMISSION
Students are admitted into GIBU based on prior academic performance,
college admission exam scores, a personal statement, and potential for
Christian service as determined by the University.
Library
The GIBU Library supports the curricular needs of students and faculty.
Library hours are posted on the university‘s website. The Library‘s
Discovery Service gives students online access to multiple electronic
materials such as journal and newspaper articles, ebooks, and thesis or
dissertations. GIBU also have a e-library on WhatsApp: +231-778-506-

GIBU is a member of LWEUBC which is also member in a consortium of
Charlotte academic libraries, which circulates, print books and other
materials between member institutions. Books and other resources can
be requested via the Discovery Service and collected or returned at
participating (LWEBUC) libraries.
Homework Submission
Microsoft® Word™ is the default required format for homework
submitted in online courses. Some courses require other formats for
specific assignments.
Technology
GIBU provides course materials, essential information, important e-mail
communications, and other critical services via the internet. In most
courses, internet access is required for weekly homework and
assignments. Aided by the resources and support GIBU provides, it is

Computer and internet access are available in the Library and other
campus locations. Technology accounts are assigned upon enrollment.

Students are expected to be honest in all academic work and are
responsible for their own work for course requirements. Scholastic

Students wanting to enter the 60 credits Bachelor Degree program must
have completed a Diploma or associate degree in Ministry or an
equivalent of 60 credit hours.
The Bachelor degree program prepares students either for ordained
ministry in a Christian church, or for a wider engagement in society.
Upon the successful completion of the Bachelor Degree in program,
the students should be able to:

• serve in ministry such as a local church or missions and develop
abilities and virtues that will prepare them for their calling and
career
• provide an in-depth Biblical foundation to supply the values,
knowledge and skills needed to effectively serve in Christian
education
• demonstrate a good understanding of theological and Biblical
interpretation
• promote growth toward personal maturity and ministry
competence in the
practice of ministry-related Christian education
• utilize insights gained for the effective practice of Christian
education in the church, the community, and the world

The entry requirement for the Master Degree program is the bachelor in
theology.
Upon the successful completion of the Master in Theology, the
students should be able to:
• Develop advanced skills in Biblical Studies, Theology and
Christian ministries in preparation for significant senior leadership
in the ministry.
• Develop a Christian worldview in which attitudes and values are

The Doctor of Ministry degree offers pastors, missionaries and leaders
an opportunity for professional and personal growth. The student will be

The Purpose of the Accelerated Program is to give an opportunity to the
most senior Minister who is qualify to fast-track a study through the
Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate earned Degree Programs. NB: this
program belongs to the most senior minister with more than 20 years’
experience in ministries.
Bachelor’s Program (60 Credit Hour)
1. Twenty (20) Courses plus Thesis Project.

• Anyone can enroll into GIBU tuition Program. It is the
choice of a student to either enroll into tuition free or
tuition Program
• GIBU Tuition Program belongs to all Students, Baby
Christian, adults, non-Christians and mature ministers
from certificate program to Ph.D
REGULAR PROGRAM - In this Program, the University’s
Dean of admission office will admit a Student into the
University Regular Degree Program. We accept students
from all Levels into our Regular Degree Program. Baby
Christian, Youth, adult, Youth Ministers and non-
Christians.
This program runs from Certificate up to PhD.
With GIBU Tuition Program, student will pay per credit hour and will cover the
entire curriculum of the University before graduation. Therefore, the following
Degree programs comprises the Tuition Program
1. Certificate Program - is (6) six months of intensive Studies.- 19 credit hours
2. Diploma Program - (9) nine months of intensive Studies - 30 credit hours
3. Associate Degree Program -(2) years of studies - 60 credit hours
4. Bachelor Degree - Program (4) four Years of Studies 120 credit hours in total
