Review product service records/documentation prior to induction into the shop for purchase order
requirement configuration, service life, and mandatory maintenances, as well as accuracy of these
records.
Perform shop floor audits to determine compliance with regulations and company procedures.
Examine assembly, installation, and adjustment of components to ensure that workmanship and
materials conform to Civil Air Regulations, company specifications, CMM's, and manual procedures.
Reviews configuration and modification status and records those changes, where required.
Examine material product for surface defects, such as cracks, pits, and corrosion.
Inspect materials and products to ensure protective covers and safety wire for conformance to
specifications.
Compare product with parts list or sample model to ensure completion of assembly.
Verify specified dimensions of product or material.
Sign traveler tag to approve unit or record reasons for rejecting unit.
Perform visual inspection of product prior to delivery.
Examine work records for completeness and accuracy.
Complete documentation required to certify that product was airworthy and accept the product for
return to service.
