A former Air Combat Tactics Instructor Candidate, Patrick Lappert entered the United States Navy while completing his Bachelor of Arts in Biology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Studying medicine at the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Maryland, Dr. Lappert received his first assignment to the Marine Fighter/Attack Squadron 451, where he served as Flight Surgeon for the Warlords. After his initial stint as Flight Surgeon, Dr. Patrick Lappert completed his General Surgery Residency at the former Naval Hospital Oakland through U.C. Davis East Bay. He served an additional residency in Plastic Surgery at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.
