IPad sessions: how to use keynote to create a Pecha Kucha

2.  Sit in silence for 2 minutes and think about
your favourite technology.
 Does this piece of technology make tasks
easier to complete?
 2 minutes to discuss in pairs your thoughts
 Finally feed back to the group

3.  Japanese style of presentation
 Over 800 cities around the world host special
nights where people can share ideas
 20 x 20 = 20 Slides are made lasting 20
seconds

4.  Using the IPads provided make groups of 4 or
5 pupils.
 Each person in the group has to make 4
slides.
 Slide 1 – Introduce yourself
 Slide 2 & 3 – What is your favourite piece of
technology and how do you use it
 Slide 4 – What have you liked so far in your
visit to the school

5. To automate the slides
set Settings
Build to 0
Transitions 20

6.  We will go through each group and ask the
teams to show their Pecha Kucha
presentations.
 Remember it is very difficult to present ideas
in public so remain respectful
