Therapeutic Kneads
September 2014 - February 2015, Clinical Massage Therapist
Created individualized treatment programs based on initial intake that included
myoskeletal alignment assessment tests and subjective questions/observations
about clients’movement/pain history.
Developed an initial new client protocol based on common posture deviations
caused by the daily use and abuse of modern technology (i.e. excessive use of
personal computers and cell phones).
Kept clear and concise client profiles through S.O.A.P. note charting, staying within
the scope of practice inherent in the code of conduct and ethical standards for
massage threrapists. Recommended specific stretches to help facilitate more
functional, efficient and pain-free movement in clients daily lives.

Beach in conjunction with outcall and in-home services.
Designed pglmt.com and Facebook account as a marketing strategy and client
educational tool. Created marketing materials such as business cards and flyers to

Marketed and provided massage services to Lincoln Park clientele. Retained over
30 monthly massage members for the duration of my employment.
Maintained clients through email follow-ups which included self-care suggestions
(i.e. stretching, self care trigger point therapy).
Provided high-volume massages (6-8 one-hour sessions per day) while utilizing
body mechanics to preserve my own body.
