PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Since 1994 I’ve represented various clients in developing and implementing wireless networks. Participated in all aspects of
wireless site development from land acquisition to permitting (both planning & building) and up through site construction.
Deals have ranged from corporate entities (i.e. Norfolk Southern, Marriott), to multi-site tower tenancies (i.e. American
Tower [ATC] and Crown Castle [CCI]), to cities and jurisdictions (i.e. Fairfax, VA, Fremont, CA), utility companies (Pacific Gas
& Electric [PG&E] and Bonneville Power Authority [BPA]) along with many stand alone Landlords. I have negotiated a wide
range of legal instruments including: leases, licenses, easements and right-of-way agreements.
• Worked on roughly 1100 antenna sites in four (4) states and two (2) Canadian Provinces
• Lead negotiator and primary permitting contact in the establishment of over 200 new antenna sites
• Define engineering site requirements against land use regulations for appropriate candidate selection.
• Determination of site acquisition and budget deliverable schedules.
• Guide approval of architectural permitting and construction drawings through review and redline process.
• Negotiation of property instruments (i.e. leases, easements) and all pertinent site agreements (i.e. easements).
• Review, identification and risk analysis of title and ownership documents.
• Prepare and review site design and land use entitlement planning and building applications for submission to
regulatory agencies to obtain (planning) approvals and (construction) permits.
• Broker site approvals and environmental review with regulatory officials.
• Coordinated and represented client at meetings and public hearings.
• Scheduled and coordinated site construction process.
• Develop and maintain relationships with property owners, public officials, clients and municipal staff.
• Finalize documentation of acquisition and permitting process to (permanent) site files.
