About Metrowine
Metrowine Distribution Company, Inc., a source of fine wine since
1988, has attained a position as one of the top global purveyors of
Bordeaux wine. Continuously augmenting its international
offerings, Metrowine is a fine wine leader in the New York

A Family History
 Patrick Baugier’s ancestors started their negociant
business in the 17th century.
 In the 18th century, Edme Baugier wrote Memoires
Historiques de la Province de Champagne V1 & 2,
detailing the history of Champagne.
 In the 20th century, Patrick’s father Jacques Baugier
was the head of the Saint-Emilion Wine Growers
Association, one of the largest organizations in all of
France managing more than 25% of the appellation.
 In 1988, Metrowine Distribution Inc. was founded in
the USA by Patrick Baugier.
