6. What Researches Show:
Teachers make more effective use of technology as an
instructional tool when:
â˘technology use is systemically included in lesson plans
showing how technology supports the instructional objectives.
â˘students have acquired basic proficiency with the
technology prior to using it in a content-based lesson.
â˘the technology is used to extend or reinforce core
curricula.
â˘School plans describe in detail how technology is used to
7. What Researches Show:
Thereâs a positive impact on academic performance when:
â˘technology use is supported by teachers, administrators,
and parents.
â˘technology use is integrated throughout the school day.
â˘the application used has a direct correlation to the curriculum
objectives being assessed.
â˘the application adjusts the level of difficulty and provides
feedback based on individual studentsâ needs.
â˘students have opportunities to work collaboratively while
using the technology; and
â˘students have opportunities to design and implement.
