Post Graduate research thesis: “Experimental Investigation on the role of Minimum Quantity Lubrication in
Metal Cutting” under the guidance of Prof. Apurba Kishore Dutta, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, IIEST
- Selection of proper vegetable oil as metal cutting fluid.
- Investigation of the effects of mustard oil on metal cutting under MQL condition, as compared to dry
cutting and flood cooling (using Servocut 51), on C-40 steel using uncoated tungsten carbide tool.
- Machining performance was analysed on the basis of cutting force, tool wear and surface roughness.
Extra Curricular Activities:
- Gold medallist in District and State Championship and Bronze medallist in National Kickboxing
Championship.
- Trained in Boxing and Kickboxing. Holder of Brown Belt in martial arts.
