3. Credit Rating Information Services of India Limited (CRISIL) is a global analytical company providing ratings, research, and risk and policy advisory services. India’s first credit rating agency, incorporated on 29th January, 1987 by Mr N Vaghul as Chairman and Mr Pradip Shah as MD. Ms Roopa Kudva, present MD & CEO from 2007. 3

4. Problems Opportunities 4 • Security issue. • Authenticating employees beyond a simple user name & password (Identity Verification). • Need of solution to enable its employees to securely access data. • A multiple level of authentication was required.

(Digital certificate – due to interference, VPNs- particular port required, that could make internal network vulnerable) but didn’t  Implement a combined solution from Citrix & RSA security’s secure mobile and remote access solution. (because its portable and easy to use) RSA SecurID is a two factor authentication solution requires the user to key in a passcode, a combination of a PIN and a OTP

The user can access applications securely from any Internet-enabled terminal, using an RSA SecurID authenticator and the Citrix Secure Gateway. 3. RSA Security’s integration with Citrix helped enforce security at three levels: a. Standard user name/ password level, b. Domain level authentication, c. The user name and passcode. 4. RSA is both reliable and cost effective.
