3. History of cutting equipments &
machines
It all started in stone age
For purpose of cutting wood, etc.
Cutting tool plays very important part in
manufacturing any product as raw
material required is need to be cut in
required size or to extract raw material.
4. Modern cutting equipment &
machines
Now in 21st the cutting ability of tools
have reached to a different level
5. Types of cutting machines
1. MANUAL
Hack saw
Jig saw
Chain saw
Cold saw
2. Automatic
Power Hacksaw machine
Lathe machine and many more
6. Drawbacks of current hacksaw
cutting machine
Cannot cut at highspeed
Heavy and rigid
Cuts only in one stroke
Ease of use
Less efficeint
7. The revolutionary double hacksaw
cutting machine
Full filling the limitation of the previous machines
we are introducing the one in its kind double
hacksaw cutting machine
8. WORKING OF MACHINE
The principle of working of this machine is to
convert rotary motion of motor in to
reciprocating motion using crank mechanism.
The crank and connecting rod is attached with
slider and it will reciprocate through and fro.
The hex blade frame is attached with
reciprocating assembly and operate cutting
blade.
The separate vice is mounted on both side of
assembly the job to be cut is clamped in vice.
The machine is double cutting attachment so
rate of production is increase.
9. Advantages
It is very easy to operate.
It is having low power consumption.
It’s installation cost is very low.
It is very simple from maintenance point of
view.
It is compact and portable.
It is very advantageous for small scale
industries due to less space requirements.
Increase in cutting speed.
Most efficient.
