Product Manager, Commercial Loan Products 2015 - 2016
As one of the first employees of the fastest-growing sectors of the financial industry, I was able to create and
execute a brand strategy for one of the first fully-digital, mobile-based loan products from Fuse Lending Inc. This
allowed the company to acquire 5 business partners and more than 3,000 subscribers for the product within the first 3
months of release which resulted in a net loan portfolio of Php24M.
Product Development and Execution
● Developed product: Initiated rigorous industry, competitive, and product feasibility analyses to develop more
nuanced projections and more realistic plans for product development and growth.
● Established B2B2C focus: Crafted a product which benefits both business partners and end-users by
providing unique solutions to market demands and trends through the ingenious use of mobile technology
and available platforms.
● Designed workflow: Operationalized a process that started with lead generation and ended with product
delivery and aftersales support. Led finance, IT, and sales to agree on communication points throughout
workflow; including each sales opportunity’s probability and projected revenue.
Branding and Marketing
● Established a marketing strategy, starting with defining Power Payday Advance’s brand identity and then
consistently communicating it across all channels—corporate website; digital and print ads, brochures and
presentations
Partnership Acquisition Negotiation and Expansion
● Excelled at forging partnerships due to in-depth research on macro and micro economic factors (i.e. industry
needs and assessment) listening carefully to customers’ needs and patiently engaging in negotiations to
meet those—as well as Fuse Lending’s—needs.

Management Trainee, Credit Evaluation and Collection April 2015 – Sept 2015
Was part of the second batch of Management Trainees of BPI Globe BanKO, the first mobile phone-based,
microfinance-focused savings bank. During the stint as a management trainee, I was assigned into various divisions
and departments within the bank as part of my training.
Credit Evaluation Process Systemization
● Established and designed lean but effective credit evaluation process through designing systems and
processes as well as the use of various tracking tools and methodologies that would aid in identifying
problems and provide faster solutions
Collection Systems and Processes Workflows
● Designed workflow that started with lead generation and ended with product delivery and technical
installation support. Led finance, manufacturing, and sales to agree on communication points throughout
workflow, including each sales opportunity probability and projected revenue.
