Inequality in education means
imbalances in the field of education.
Rural urban inequality in school
education implies inequality in terms of
quality and opportunity in edcation at
rural urban areas.
Inequality in Rural-Urban Literacy
Rate
 The literacy rate of urban area is greater
than rural area.
 According to the census of India,2011, the
literacy rate in urban area is 84.98% but
the literacy rate in rueral area is 68.91%
Thus, inequality in literacy rate between
rural urban area is 16.07%

 Illiteracy of parents
 Lower quality equiptment in rural
school
 Difference in number of educational
institution
 Lack of trained teachers in rural areas

and access to different facilities.

  • 2. Inequality in education means imbalances in the field of education. Rural urban inequality in school education implies inequality in terms of quality and opportunity in edcation at rural urban areas.
