research areas that are associated
with academic areas of study.
Academic discipline has branches and
it co-evolves with systems of
professions.
Why Education is a Discipline?
To become a discipline academia, a
subject must be professional enough.
A discipline has its own language
system and its own professional
technique.
It has theories and practice.
Language system divides people into
two- one is the expert and the other
is a layman.

  • 9. Discipline Academic discipline or field of study is a branch of knowledge that is taught and researched at college or university level. Disciplines are defined and recognized by the academic journals.
  • 10. Describes types of knowledge, expertise, skills, people, projects, communities, problems, challenges, studies, inquiry, approaches and research areas that are associated with academic areas of study. Academic discipline has branches and it co-evolves with systems of professions.

Why Education is a Discipline? To become a discipline academia, a subject must be professional enough. A discipline has its own language system and its own professional technique. It has theories and practice. Language system divides people into two- one is the expert and the other is a layman.
