3. The model was proposed by Hilda Taba in her book
‘Curriculum development theory and practice’in
1962.

“Curriculum should be developed by the
teachers who teach the curriculum which led to
development of model called
“Grass root model of curriculum”.
It evolves a Decentralised Educational system.
Grass root model is also called Hilda Taba model
