2. Pre-injury Status
Before his injury this 21 year old
man was a manager of a distribution
warehouse. He worked in excess of
the required full 40 hours.
He was in the army before and was
in the reserve. He lived with his
father, whom he helped and
supported.
He dated and had many friends with
frequent social contacts. He drove a
so-called muscle car, which was
actually wrecked in the accident. He
had no pre-existing conditions and
was perfectly healthy.
3. Present Condition
After his injury this patient has not
resumed working. He is at home
on long term disability leave.
He has taken up social activities
and they are at a level of at least
one half of that before the injury.
He is completely independent at
home and can be left alone for 8
hours without a problem.
He does not drive at this time, but
is able to take the bus or call a
taxi, and has gone out on his own
to shop.
4. Present Condition
There are no complaints of any
post-injury symptoms and he
does not report any strain or
disruption of his normal life. He
reiterates that he would love to
be back at work.
