Founded in 1944, the Otto Bremer Trust (OBT) is both a bank holding company and a philanthropic foundation. The organization focuses on helping those communities and regions that are home to Bremer Banks. The Otto Bremer Trust’s philosophy emphasizes basic needs, with the trust deploying substantial funds in support of providers of food, shelter, and health care. Recently, the Otto Bremer Trust contributed $1 million to a Minneapolis, Minnesota, not-for-profit group called the PACER Center, which is dedicated to helping young people and their families impacted by disabilities and bullying.
