1. 1. A psychopathic killer released from prison seeks revenge on emotional and damaged wife
after becoming stable and settled in her new and far away home. Is she about to end up back
where she started or worse?...
2. The film genre of our production, Cottenham Park Road, will be action. To accompany this
genre, we will be using grime music help enhance the mood.
3. Our media text is going to be non-linear and aimed more towards a younger audience, more
likely to be living in London, ranging in ages from teenagers to mid 20’s.
4. It will be aimed more towards generation Z and towards classes D&E (semi & unskilled
manual workers, e.g. lorry drivers. Students and unemployed pensioners).
5. We will have binary oppositions of empowered vs victim, man vs woman and strong vs weak.
6. Themes our production will include will be, revenge, crime, violence, broken family, criminals,
gangs and shootings.

8. Trip hazards: All filming equipment will be stored and laid out in an organized fashion to
prevent tripping or falling over. All be in the same place at same time: We are all going to be
organized with time scheduling so that we can have things filmed and edited efficiently.
Camera movement: We will not be filming any shots hand held to avoid the production looking
unprofessional.
9. Props: For combat scenes we will use a bb gun and a fake knife to enhance the theme of
violence. For the arrest scene we will have handcuffs and walkie talkies for the contact
between police members instead of police radios.
10. To summarize, our opening sequence will be a non-linear, dramatic action clip. It will be
filmed in a series of locations each one to appeal to the different categories of our target
audience. Throughout our production we will be attempting to portray a tense, captivating and
suspenseful experience, that should be aesthetically pleasing to watch due to the way it has
been filmed and edited.
