favoring information that confirms previously existing beliefs
or biases.

Bolin tells Hazel that you need to study because Bolin already
know Hazelâs result are bad. As well as in contrast, Hazel tell
Bolin that she does not need to study because she is already
has previous information about her as an excellent student.

Bolinâs mother compare her daughter result with Hazelâs father.
Bolinâs result is very good, she passed the exam with flying color. She
looks down on Hazel because she did not get the good result.

Hazel observed way of study from Bolin. She realized that Bolin
studied hard everyday and her time management is very good.
Moreover, she pays attention when teacher teaching.
