2. VERB
• A verb is a word that describes what the subject of a
sentence is doing. Verbs can indicate (physical or mental)
actions, occurrences, and states of being.

2. Irregular verb

5. Gerund

4. REGULAR VERB
• Regular verbs are verbs whose past tense are formed by
adding a
-ed to the end.
For example,
She walked to school.

5. IRREGULAR VERB
• An irregular verb is any one that doesn't follow the standard
rule of making a verb past tense.
standard rule: to add "-ed" to a verb to make it past tense.
For example,
“to write” = wrote
“to begin”= began

6. TRANSITIVE VERB
• A transitive verb is a verb that requires an object to receive the
action.
For example,
She gives a gift.
In the Sentence gives is a transitive verb and
a gift is the direct object

7. INTRANSITIVE VERB
• A intransitive verb is a verb that does not need of an object to
receive
an action.
For example,
My friend just passed by here.

8. GERUND
• A gerund is the noun form of verb that ends in-ing.
For example,
He is playing a cricket.
