Leading the business development process for the Vila Andrea Residence ( Housing living project with
52 apartment livings and amenities such as Pool, common areas for recreating, parking and more)
Leading and coordination the following works: Feasibility studies, architectural proposed drawings , Site
acquisition strategies, business plan, market research, marketability studies, project budget to ensure
profitability, entitlement process, government and community approval process.

Created and stablished the construction management system in order to achieve operational excellence,
ensure the construction work finish on time, as specified and within the budget constraints agreed in the
contract.
Implemented a construction management system to manage RFI’s, change order requests, submittal
reviews, drawings reviews, quality control, payment requests, and budget control monitory system.
Overseeing submittal, specifications and drawings review process in order to fix the constructions errors
on paper rather on the field.
2. Stablished administrative systems to improve project efficiency and transparency
Standardized the quality control reports. After its implementation, all quality control managers for
different trades had a guide in regards what management expected from each quality control report.
Prepared project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends with
goal to recommend actions.

Project Engineer
Executed the construction management for the construction of sidewalks and small parks at five different
locations (provinces) in the Dominican Republic. The main goal was to ensure subcontractors finish the
work on time within the budget constraints.
Implemented a construction management system in order to manage RFI’s, change order requests,
submittal reviews, quality control, payment requests, budget control system and costs.
Oversee the quality control process to ensure the construction drawings met clients’ expectations and had
enough details that reduce construction errors.
Oversee field measurement to evaluate construction progress and payment requests.
Conducted negotiation meetings where sensitive tack was required in order to find solutions that allow
the project keep going forward.
Successfully led the following construction BIDS:
o Winning Bid- Construcción de obras municipales – Ministerio de Planificación Economía y
Desarrollo ($RD 2,700,000 RD).
o Supervisión de instalaciones de medidores para la zonas turísticas de puerto plata, romana y
moca – Agua y Saneamiento ($RD 10,000,000).
o Consultoría de reciclaje para las fundaciones de recolección de residuos sólidos – IDDI
(RD$215,000).
o Construcción de Funeraria Municipal en las Matas de Farfán – Dirección General de
Ordenamiento Territorial ($RD 15,000,000).
o Saneamiento del Rio Ozama, propuesta elaborada en conjunto con la fundación Waste Free
Oceans para desarrollar estudios básicos – Comisión Presidencial para el Saneamiento ($US
2,000,000).
Developed construction management system plan for the construction of 1,000 housing units.
Developed bid strategies in order to earn competitive advantage in the civil and environmental
engineering market place of the Dominican Republic.

2013-2014 TURNER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
Construction Manager Engineer – FT Irwin Replacement Hospital, CA (170 MM U.S)
Construction Manager Engineer for the trades earthwork, masonry, drywall, medical equipment, food
service equipment, erosion control, hydraulic elevators, pneumatic tube systems, site survey, site work.
3. Remotely overseeing the engineering performance of ten subcontracting companies to meet our client’s
expectations. All operations where managed from the Washington D.C business unit.
Managed subcontractor represented about 15 MM out of 170 MM dollars of volume of work.
Ensure the engineering work from subcontractors goes according the construction specifications and
contract documents.
Successfully led the coordination of mechanical, electrical and plumbing work among subcontractors,
and the Turner field staff with the goal to achieve operational excellence at the jobsite.
Supervised subcontractors to ensure their work were perform within budged and on time.
Performed subcontractor risk assessments for problem anticipation with the goal to not impact the
budged or the construction schedule.
Successfully addressed sensitive issues with tack while kept sub-contractors focused on task and
determined course of action that was acceptable to all parties.
Promoted to level two with only eight months of service in the company.
Developed scope of works for the following trades: paint, building insulation, millwork, resinous
flooring, resilient flooring, carpet, acoustical ceiling, access flooring, signage, spray applied fire
proofing.
2012-2013 Estimating Assistant
Assisted in the cost estimation and development of scope of work for construction trades (earthwork,
roofing, elevators, etc.) for multiple bid pursuits.
Established trusting relationships with subcontractors to ensure Turner obtains competitive bids.

their needs to better serve them with programs and events.
Established media relationships with Mundo Fox, Telemundo, Univision to promote our programs and
encourage professionals from the D.C to join to the organization.
2012-2013 Vice President - Community Outreach - SHPE DC professional chapter
Assisted in the development of the strategic plan for the SHPE-DC chapter with the goal of adding
professional value to the organization, achieve operational excellence, and encourage chapter
engagement.
Implemented the 1st
annual SHPE-DC NASA Space Science Day (NSSD) program in Washington D.C.
The goal of the NSSD is to encourage middle/ high school Hispanic students to become scientists and
engineers through hands-on activities. These activities are taught by Hispanic scientists and engineers
from NASA.
Successfully led a group of five experienced professionals to implement and coordinate the NSSD event.
180 students, 30 volunteers, 12 teachers attended to the NSSD program.
Developed and submitted proposal to the SHPE foundation to obtain funds to host the NSSD event in
2014.
4. Established a strong relationship with the Arlington Public Schools Board to work together in outreach
programs and promote the SHPE scholarship opportunities for students.
