Working Title: Otto The Otter
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose: The purpose of my product is that it will entertain people. The game has
a storyline for people to follow. People will have to find an item and then get to the end of
the level so that they can look at all the scenery around the stage.
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre: The genre is adventure and action. The game goes into the categories as the game
would be based on exploration as they need to find items to progress through the levels.
There will also be enemiesin the otter would need to kill. For example the player would
need to defeat an enemy with a certain skill to collect the item to get to the end of the stage.
What sort of product is it
Content: The game is about an otter trying to find its way home but there are many
obstacles in the way. On some of the starting levelsthere will be skills taught to the player
to teach them how to play the game. There will be story line elements which would be told
in cut scenes. The game and characters are pixelated.
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
Audience: The audience for the game would be a 5+ as it isn’t a violent game such as
Mortal Kombat for example. It would be more like Sonic Mania with short cut scenes that
can tell you a lot about what’s to come. My game will also not aim towards at a social
status, race and religion. The psychographic would be anyone that is interested in
platformers as it won’t cost much and anyone can enjoy it.
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Research and Planning: I will take my experimentsfrom my planning and improve on them
to make them look even better. I will take one of my designs for the character and improve
on his design. I will create everything in the level design from the rocks to the background.

Legal & Ethical Considerations: There will not be any offensive material, racial and religion
slurs. My game wont offend as the game will be family friendly and wont view any real-
world problems. The game will be for people as young as 5 so it can appeal towards them
and not be seeing anything violent on the cover. I will be creating the designs for the game
so there wont be any copyright strikes.
